Mountain Biking Trails in Cascade Locks 

Gorge 400 Trail System

The Gorge 400 Trail System in Cascade Locks, Oregon, is a developing multi-use trail network located south of Interstate 84, aiming to provide interconnected opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and equestrian use within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Parts of this trail "piggyback" on other system trails, including the established EasyCLIMB trail and its recent expansions, the CLIMB (Cascade Locks International Mountain Bike System).

Mountain bikes are allowed on the Gorge 400 Trail from John Yeon Trailhead east to Moody Road in Cascade Locks, OR, and from Wyeth Campground west to Herman Creek Trail #406.  Bikes are prohibited between Angel's Rest Trailhead and Ainsworth Campground and between Moody Road and Herman Creek Trail #406.

Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail: Bridge of the Gods Trailhead

The new Cascade Locks International Mountain Bike (CLIMB) Trails is a new 15-mile trail expansion of the original easyCLIMB system, creating a diverse network south of I-84 suitable for mountain bikers, hikers, and equestrians. Developed through a partnership involving the NWTA, the Port of Cascade Locks, and the US Forest Service, the expanded system now includes intermediate and advanced trails alongside the beginner-friendly easyCLIMB, featuring berms, rock roll-overs, and technical sections. For the most up-to-date information on specific sections, check resources like Trailforks and the the Cascade Locks MTB Trails Facebook Group.
