A non-refundable administration fee of $50.00 is required to be on the waitlist. This fee is separate from moorage fees and will not be credited towards future moorage payments. Payment does not ensure moorage rights, as the availability of slips is subject to an unknown turnover rate. Boat ownership is not required to be on the waitlist.

The Port of Cascade Locks manages three (3) separate waitlists: vessels under 20 feet, vessels under 28 feet, and vessels under 36 feet.

When a moorage slip becomes available and is offered to a waitlist applicant, the applicant will have thirty (30) days to place a vessel in the slip. If a boat is not currently owned, the prospective tenant will be given thirty (30) days to purchase a boat to be placed in the slip or provide proof that a purchase transaction is pending. Prorated moorage fees for the remainder of the calendar year will be calculated from the date of acceptance.

If the 30-day requirement cannot be met and the applicant would like to remain on the waiting list, his or her name will be moved to the bottom of the list. The applicant may decline the offer and request to be removed.

Applicants must respond to a slip offer within five (5) business days. Failure to respond within this timeframe will be considered a decline of the offer.
